September was a great moment for the Franco-Brazilian network with several events organized in Brazil and the visit of two French researchers to visit colleagues of the network and participate to scientific activities
The program included
-Carlos Arthur GOUVEIA VELOSO’s thesis defense in co-supervision at the Federal University of Paraiba, in Joao Pessoa
– Conference of Dr Laurent Picot (La Rochelle University, CNRS) on antitumor and antibacterial phototherapy at UFPB Joao Pessoa
– Reception and visit of Dr. L. Picot, Dr. Raphaël Grougnet (Paris Cités University CNRS) and Pr Jackson Guedes Da Silva Almeida (UNIVASF Petrolina) at the Federal University of Sergipe in Aracaju (Pr Lucindo Quintans-Jr and his team), meeting of researchers, visits of laboratories, training seminars for the students and conferences for the students and the researchers, medicinal plant collection in the National Park Serra de Itabaiana
– Participation of Dr L.Picot, Dr R. Grougnet and Pr L. Quintans-Jr in the Brazilian Medicinal Chemistry Congress BrazMedChem 2022 in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, organized by Pr Claudio Viegas Jr from Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Minas Gerais and Pr Angelo de Fatima, from Federal University of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. This event was a great opportunity to make new friends, meet Brazilian colleagues interested in scientific partnerships with French researchers and present our research activity and the FB2NP network structuration.
